Weddings are hard work, expensive, and so much FUN! When we were searching for a wedding photographer, we were amazed at how expensive everything seemed. We discovered that first we would have to pay the photographer for his/her time, then after the wedding, we would have to pay for any prints that we ordered!
Our wedding photographer did something very unusual: he offered his time and services, and then gave us the negatives (we were married before digital photography was around)! We could get copies of our photos printed anywhere we liked, and make as many copies as we wanted. Since we had the negatives, we had a copy of ALL of our images, not just the ones we purchased from the photographer.
We loved the idea of offering our time and services, and then giving our newlyweds the freedom of getting their prints made where they chose. So, that is what we offer. . .

Our favorite 200 (or so) images will be posted on our website for family/friend viewing (and purchasing if you don't give them the option to get prints from you).
When couples inquire about our wedding photography, the usually ask about price, availablity, and what is included. . .we hope you find the following information helpful.
Our photography styles are totally different. Matt's chooses to include the "whole picture" so to speak. Whereas Karen enjoys "focusing" on the details - up close and personal! :) On each of our photo shoots we try to outdo each other by taking the best shots. Our competitive nature and the playful competition lead to some very interesting and unique wedding photos!
The price of $2,000 is for up to 8 hours of photography coverage on your wedding day. We (Matt and Karen) will both take photos throughout the day - from different points of view. We shoot with three professional digital cameras, so we don't have to worry about "wasting" film. Karen usually sticks with the ladies, while Matt takes photos of the men until the wedding begins. . .then we shoot from all over the place to get shots from different angles. So basically you have us while you are "getting ready", during the wedding, photos after the wedding, and at the reception (depending upon the timing of your wedding day). We give you "home" rights to the images. . .meaning we don't make you purchase any pics from us. Basically you pay for our time at your wedding and the time for post-processing. We process ALL of your images (not just the ones you would order), and give you dvd's of ALL of the images (usually btwn 600-800+) to have printed at the printer of your choice. You can make as many prints of the photos, as you like as long as you don't sell them for a profit. We do recommend you use a professional printer, but it's really up to you! Having a copy of all of your images saves you a lot of $$$ if you need to order a bunch of pics for family and friends.
Your engagement OR bridal shoot is also included! We enjoy the engagement/bridal shoots because it allows us to get to know each other. . .that way you are more comfortable (and recognize us) on your wedding day! If you don't need engagement of bridal pics the price decreases by $150. So the wedding package would be only $1850.
Each wedding package will be tailor made for you. If you do not need us for 6-8 hours, or would like to have us at your wedding even longer, please email for special pricing. Also shoot us an email if you have any additional questions or for imformation regarding availability.
